Surrey Hills Council No. 2o8 - welcomes the District Grand Prefect

The Surrey Hills Council met at the Nutfield Masonic Centre on Wednesday 19th April 2017, commencing their meeting at 5.30 pm. They were honoured by an annual Official Visit by the District Grand Prefect, Raymond Hussey, and nine of his District Officers of the year, who were welcomed by the Brethren and entertained by a fine ceremony, in which Roderick Paul Ingham was admitted to the Order.



The Worshipful Master, Bob Tuthill undertook the Candidates admission in fine style and the Lecture to the Candidate was then delivered in an excellent and meaningful manner by W. Bro. Steve Briney, to the great enjoyment of all those present and particularly Bro. Rod Ingham.

Brother Alan Michael Hall was declared Master Elect for the ensuing year and W. Bro. James Daniel Jones re- elected as Council Treasurer.

The Lodge was closed and the Brethren then retired to a most convivial Festive Board, where the usual Toasts of the Order were honoured.
