Thank You and Farewell Dinner and Dance
The Thank You and Farewell Dinner and Dance Party for RW.Bro. Ray Hussey, District Grand Prefect for Surrey in the Allied Masonic Degrees, was held on Saturday 21st October at the Reigate Manor Hotel, Reigate, Surrey.
What a splendid evening we had. Many members of the Allied Masonic Degrees and Other Orders and their guests sat down to an excellent dinner. After the meal we were entertained by Ian Gallagher singing the hits of Frank Sinatra, Michael Buble and others. The music was so good many of the guests took to the dance floor and later on in the evening we had a number of guests with their air guitars entertaining us.
At the end of the evening the District Grand Prefect thanked everyone for coming and helping to make this a memorable evening for him and his wife Ann. W.Bro. John French, District Grand Prefect Designate, then played a very special recorded message from the Deputy District Grand Prefect in Charge, W.Bro. Frank Powell, who unfortunately could not be there due to illness.
The District Grand Secretary presented RW.Bro. Ray with a gift of an iPad from the members of the District in grateful thanks and appreciation for all his hard work and leadership of the District of Surrey over the past ten years.
