Busy Knights at Surrey Council
At the meeting of the Surrey Council No. 64 at Croydon on Monday 18th December, four members of the lodge - Brothers Norman Jones (representative candidate), Barry Thomas, John Swift and Luke Sommer, together with two guests, Brothers Rod Ingham (C208) & Roger Short (C102) were constituted and created Knights of the Red Cross of Babylon. The ceremony was performed by WBro Mike Neville (First Part), WBro Arnold Long (Second Part) and VWBro Eric Trodd (Third Part) with much support from members of the Council and guests.
Bro Rod Ingham gave some excellent feedback - "It was a wonderful and fascinating ceremony which I thoroughly enjoyed. I was so pleased to have been one of the candidates in the ceremony of the Illustrious Order of the Red Cross of Babylon. I also enjoyed the superb company, both prior to the meeting and also at the festive board afterwards. You are a very happy bunch of masons and made me feel very welcome."
