Flying the flag at Pillars of Kent Craft Lodge
In March 2019, our Deputy District Grand Prefect, W.Bro. Bob Tuthill, invited me along to his Craft Lodge, Pillars of Kent No 9012, to give a talk entitled Freemasonry during the Second World War. Present was W.Bro. Eric Hampson, Assistant Provincial Grand Master and a number of Provincial Officers.
The talk was well received and prompted a good discussion afterwards. While Bob and I were in the bar afterwards we were joined by W.Bro. Glyn Harvey, the Lodge Organist, and we thought it would be good to wear our AMD napkins.
Afterwards we all sat down to a splendid meal at Oakley House in Bromley, Kent.
