There were 18 members and guests. Among the guests present were the District Grand Master of the Royal and Select Masters, District Grand Council of Surrey, Right Illustrious Companion David J Blackburn, and the District Grand Prefect of the Allied Masonic Degrees, District Grand Council of Surrey, Right Worshipful Brother John V C French, our Deputy Provincial Grand Master.

The Presiding Officers in the two Orders were R.Ill.Comp. Christopher G. Lewis, Dist.G.M.(Middx), Thrice Illustrious Master of Chertsey Abbey Council of Royal and Select Masters; and W.Bro. Gareth Lewis, Worshipful Master of Runnymede Council in the Allied Masonic Degrees; Chris Lewis’ son.

The District Grand Master and the District Grand Prefect both said that they are hopeful that we have now turned the corner, and how pleased they were to be with everyone. They are both looking forward to meeting with everyone face to face again and said that it was good to see so many Active Provincial Officers attending who were thanked for their support.

At the meetings both Councils approved two charitable donations. The first from each Council was a donation of £200 to the White Lodge charity for disabled children and the second from each Council was a donation of £200 towards the Surrey Mark 2022 MBF Festival. RW.Bro. John French, as Deputy Provincial Grand Master of the Mark Province of Surrey, thanked the Brethren of both Councils for their kind donations.
